What is MhyTom?
MhyTom is a bluffing card game played in real life, around a table, with friends. It is inspired by the video game Liar's Bar: everyone plays cards face down, claiming they match the table card… and is allowed to lie. Whoever gets caught plays Russian roulette, on the phone.
The site acts as the game master: it draws the table card, spins the cylinder, counts each player's shots and announces the winner. Free, with no sign-up and no ads.
Frequently asked questions
Is MhyTom free?
Yes. MhyTom is completely free, with no sign-up and no ads.
How many players do you need?
3 to 10 players. The app tells you how many cards to use for your number of players.
Do you need a special deck of cards?
No. Standard playing cards are enough: Aces, Kings, Queens and Jokers. Above 4 players you usually need to mix several decks. The special cards of the Devil and Chaos modes can be replaced by an Ace or a Joker.
Is the Russian roulette real?
No, don't worry! The gun is entirely virtual: the phone draws the result at random. No danger, just suspense.
What is the difference with Liar's Bar?
Liar's Bar is an online video game. MhyTom takes the idea and lets you play it in real life, with real cards, around a table. MhyTom is an independent project, not affiliated with Liar's Bar.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Install MhyTom on your phone's home screen: it then works offline. Only live mode needs a connection.
Can several phones follow the game?
Yes, with live mode: the host creates a room, the others enter the 4-character code and see every shot live on their own phone.
